A large triangular UAP was observed by multiple RAF personnel at Cosford and Shawbury, Shropshire police officers, and a UK Meteorological Office official over the span of an hour in the early hours of March 31, 1993. The UK Ministry of Defence conducted a formal investigation and assessed the case as 'unexplained,' noting the objects were genuine and not conventional aircraft or atmospheric phenomena.

Homestead AFB Encounter 1993

Homestead Air Force Base, Florida

A large triangular craft hovered over Homestead AFB for 25 minutes shortly after Hurricane Andrew's devastation. F-16 pilots scrambled to intercept but reported complete sensor and weapon system failures when approaching. The base was still largely inoperative from the hurricane.

STS-51 Shuttle Mission UAP 1993

Low Earth Orbit, 160 nautical miles altitude

During Discovery's STS-51 mission, multiple unidentified objects were captured on NASA cameras performing rapid maneuvers near the orbiter. The footage showed objects executing course changes inconsistent with orbital debris. NASA Mission Control acknowledged the contacts.

A massive triangular craft wave swept across central England including over RAF Cosford and RAF Shawbury. RAF police and a meteorological officer filed official reports. The MOD's UFO desk officer Nick Pope called it 'the most significant British UFO case for years.'

Russian Air Defense Novosibirsk Radar UAP 1993

Novosibirsk, Siberia, Russia

Russian Air Defence Forces radar at Novosibirsk tracked an unidentified contact at 60,000 feet for 25 minutes. The contact performed stationary hover followed by acceleration to Mach 5. Russian Air Defence classified the report. The encounter is documented in the files of the Russian Ministry of Defence scientific committee that replaced the disbanded Soviet Academy of Sciences UAP Commission after 1991.

UK RAF Cosford Shropshire Triangle March 1993

RAF Cosford, Shropshire, England

The UK's largest-ever single-night UAP wave occurred on March 30-31, 1993, with reports from USAF bases, RAF stations, police forces, and civilians across England and Wales. The MoD meteorological officer at RAF Shawbury personally observed a triangular craft at 1,000 feet. The MoD admitted receiving over 100 reports from trained professional observers. Nick Pope, the MoD official responsible, called it 'the most significant UAP event in British history.'
