AT A GLANCE

One of the best-documented US police UAP pursuit cases, involving officers from five separate Ohio law enforcement jurisdictions who pursued a disc-shaped object for ninety minutes across Trumbull County. 911 dispatch recordings captured real-time reports from multiple officers. A US Air Force Reserve F-16 pilot in the area was vectored toward the object but could not catch it. The incident was investigated by the Mutual UFO Network and documented in detail, including the dispatch audio.

DECLASSIFIED DETAILS

In the early hours of April 17, 1994, police officers from five separate jurisdictions in Trumbull County, Ohio responded to a large luminous disc-shaped object performing maneuvers at low altitude over the county. The object was initially reported by a civilian to the Brookfield Township Police Department. Multiple officers converged on the object and attempted to follow it across the county for approximately 90 minutes. A US Air Force Reserve F-16 pilot who happened to be in the area on a training flight was vectored toward the object by ground control; the pilot confirmed the contact visually but was unable to close on the object. The 911 dispatch recordings captured the real-time communications between officers describing the object's position, movements, and appearance. Officers described it as a large oval or disc with a very bright, steady white light and colored lights on the underside. At various points officers had the object less than 100 feet above their patrol vehicles. The object eventually departed at high speed. The recorded dispatch audio and the testimony of more than a dozen police officers from five agencies made this one of the best-documented US police UAP cases of the 1990s. The Mutual UFO Network conducted an extensive investigation and concluded the reports were genuine.

Edwards AFB — Test Pilots and Tower Report Disc

Edwards Air Force Base, California, USA

Edwards AFB control tower controllers and multiple F-104 Starfighter test pilots observed a metallic disc maneuvering over the base at high altitude. The object was tracked visually by tower personnel and by pilots in flight. Project Blue Book investigated and logged the case as 'unidentified.' The encounter is notable for occurring at the USAF's primary aircraft test facility with multiple trained military aviators as witnesses.

Ann Arbor / Dexter-Hillsdale Wave — USAF Swamp Gas Controversy

Dexter and Hillsdale, Michigan, USA

Over two nights in Michigan, approximately 100 witnesses including county sheriffs' deputies and a civil defense director observed disc-shaped craft at low altitude. USAF Project Blue Book sent Dr. J. Allen Hynek to investigate. Hynek's official explanation — 'swamp gas' — caused national ridicule and congressional outrage, directly triggering the Condon Committee investigation and Congressman Gerald Ford's formal congressional inquiry.

Rogue River — USAF Intelligence Officer Daylight Observation

Rogue River, Oregon, USA

A USAF Intelligence officer observed a disc-shaped object through binoculars in full daylight over the Rogue River, Oregon. The officer filed a formal Project Blue Book report. His training in aircraft identification and position as an intelligence officer made the report one of the most credentialed in the early Blue Book record. The object was estimated at 50 feet in diameter, highly reflective, and departed at extreme speed.
