Argentina Air Force — Official UAP Acknowledgment 1995

Buenos Aires, Argentina

In 1995, the Argentine Air Force (Fuerza Aérea Argentina) formally acknowledged recurring UAP incursions in Argentine airspace and established an official investigative commission — one of the first South American air forces to do so formally. Multiple radar confirmations and airline crew reports formed the basis for the acknowledgment. The Argentine commission produced reports describing encounters that could not be explained by conventional aircraft or atmospheric phenomena.

Los Angeles, California

Ben Rich, director of the Lockheed Skunk Works from 1975 to 1991 — the classified aircraft division responsible for the U-2, SR-71, F-117, and development of stealth technology — made multiple statements in the final years of his life suggesting that the US government had developed propulsion and aircraft capabilities significantly beyond the public record. At a UCLA Engineering alumni speech in 1993 he stated: 'We already have the means to travel among the stars, but these technologies are locked up in black projects.' Rich died in January 1995.
