Nordic Military UAP / Drone Incursions — Multi-Nation Investigation

Between 2018 and 2022, a sustained series of anomalous aerial incursions occurred over sensitive infrastructure across Norway, Sweden, and Finland. The Norwegian Police Security Service (PST) and the Norwegian Intelligence Service (E-tjenesten) formally investigated incursions over the Andøya Space Center (Norway's primary rocket launch site), offshore oil platforms in the North Sea, and Norwegian and Swedish military installations. Swedish security services investigated incursions over the Forsmark nuclear power plant. Finnish authorities documented similar events near Finnish Air Force bases. Some objects were tracked on radar but evaded identification. Multiple objects appeared to hover over infrastructure for extended periods before disappearing. NATO formed a multi-nation working group to investigate the pattern. The objects were described variously as large quad-rotor drones, fixed-wing objects, and in some cases unidentifiable hovering objects that did not match any known drone profile. The Norwegian Directorate of Civil Aviation and Swedish Transport Agency both filed formal reports. No state actor — including Russia — was officially confirmed as responsible.
