Minot AFB — B-52 Radar and Visual UAP Encounter

Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota, USA

A B-52H crew and ground radar simultaneously tracked an unidentified object over Minot AFB's nuclear missile field. The object descended to 200 feet, disrupted radio communications, and was observed by base security near missile launch facilities. Project Blue Book closed the case as 'insufficient data' — later declassified Blue Book files show the radar returns were confirmed as real targets.

Minot Air Force Base B-52 Radar Encounter 1968

Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota

A B-52H bomber on approach to Minot Air Force Base tracked an unidentified contact on its radar that simultaneously manifested visually as a luminous object over the base's ICBM field. Minot Approach Control confirmed the radar contact. Security teams at multiple Minuteman missile sites reported the object hovering over the sites sequentially. Project Blue Book investigated but classified the case. FOIA-released documents show the case was handled as a TOP SECRET incident.

Redlands California Disc Wave 1968

Redlands, San Bernardino County, California

Hundreds of Redlands California residents, police officers, and University of Redlands faculty and students simultaneously observed disc-shaped craft performing maneuvers over the city. University of Redlands physics professors independently analyzed witness reports and the case was written up in a scientific paper. Norton Air Force Base radar tracking was investigated. One of the most academically-analyzed local UAP waves.
