AT A GLANCE

IRGC Air Defense tracked and attempted to engage an unidentified orb over the Isfahan region — home to key Iranian nuclear and aerospace facilities. Attempts to fire surface-to-air missiles were reportedly unsuccessful. US intelligence assets monitoring Iranian military communications captured the incident.

DECLASSIFIED DETAILS

On August 4, 2021, Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps Air Defense Command tracked an unidentified luminous orb performing maneuvers over the Isfahan Province — the location of Iran's primary nuclear fuel enrichment facility at Natanz and the IRGC's aerospace industries complex. The orb performed maneuvers over these critical facilities for 35 minutes. According to US intelligence intercepts of IRGC communications, the air defense command attempted to engage the object with surface-to-air missiles — but the missiles either failed to track or were somehow defeated. The orb departed at extreme speed after the engagement attempts. US NSA monitoring of Iranian military communications captured the incident in detail, adding another data point to the classified analysis of UAP behavior over Iranian nuclear facilities. The incident was flagged in the same analytical thread as the 2004 Tehran air defense intrusion and the 2021 Natanz UAP contact, establishing a pattern of sustained UAP attention to Iranian nuclear infrastructure.

KEY CHARACTERISTICS
  • SAM engagement attempt defeated
  • Natanz nuclear facility adjacent
  • US NSA intercept documentation
  • Pattern with 2004 Tehran and 2021 Natanz incidents
  • IRGC Air Defense official engagement

Gulf War UAP Reports — USCENTCOM Operational Records

Kuwait, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia theater of operations

During Operation Desert Storm, US and Coalition combat aircrews filed multiple reports of unidentified objects in the operational theater. USCENTCOM records, partially declassified, document objects that appeared on radar but did not match the transponder signatures of any Coalition aircraft. Several fighter pilots reported intercept attempts. The objects performed maneuvers that exceeded the capabilities of any known aircraft in the theater.

MQ-9 Reaper Donut-Shaped UAP — Middle East 2023

Middle East — USAF MQ-9 operational area

A USAF MQ-9 Reaper drone operating in the Middle East captured FLIR footage of a donut or torus-shaped metallic object hovering at altitude in 2023. The footage was included in AARO briefing materials and was among the cases presented to congressional oversight staff. The object appeared to have a hole through its center and metallic surface properties visible on infrared imaging.
