USS Kitty Hawk CVA-63 — Pre-Nimitz Strike Group UAP Series

The USS Kitty Hawk carrier strike group operating in the Pacific documented UAP encounters in late 2003 that preceded the famous 2004 Nimitz encounters by less than a year. VF-154 Black Knights F-14D crews reported encounters with unidentified objects that disappeared on radar approach. The incidents were reported through standard military channels.
