Object tracked making multiple precise 90-degree turns at approximately 80 mph over Greek airspace. Turns executed with zero radius — inconsistent with any known aircraft. State Dept cable filed via Athens embassy.
A State Department diplomatic cable filed via the US embassy in Athens documents an incident tracked by Greek military radar operators. An unidentified object was observed making multiple precise 90-degree turns at approximately 80 mph over Greek airspace. The turns were executed with effectively zero turning radius, a physical impossibility for any known aircraft at those speeds without structural failure. Radar track data shows at least 7 course changes over 8 minutes. A civilian aircraft crew in the vicinity visually confirmed the object and described it as 'a bright moving point of light with no blinking navigation lights'. Greek Air Force was unable to intercept or identify the object. The Athens embassy cable was classified CONFIDENTIAL and is included in the PURSUE Tranche 1 release.
This incident is documented in file STATE-002 released under the PURSUE Initiative on May 8, 2026. The original document, with any remaining redactions, is publicly available at the U.S. Department of War's official UAP portal.
